Ten spektakl teatralny inspirowany jest mitem Inuitów. Inuici wierzyli, że foki były kiedyś ludźmi. Na brzegu morza zdzierali focze skóry i przemieniali się w piękne, nagie i bezbronne kobiety. Bez skóry nie mogli wrócić do domu, do morza. Samotny myśliwy, spragniony towarzystwa i miłości, ukradł skórę jednej z fok i musiała z nim mieszkać przez siedem lat. Mimo że go kochała i urodziła mu syna, czuła silną potrzebę powrotu do domu. Jej ciało marniało i jeśli nie wróci, może umrzeć… Naszą inspiracją stała się książka „Kobiety, które biegły z wilkami” dr C.P. Estés. Narracja składa się z obrazów, intonacji i emocji, które zapraszają do tej małej i intymnej formy teatralnej. Każdy zrozumie ten spektakl.

The performance is based on the Inuit myth. Inuit believed that seals used to be humans. They took off their seal skins on the shore and turned into beautiful, naked and vulnerable women. Without their seal skins, they couldn’t return home, to the sea. A lone huntsman, desperate for company and love, stole seal skin that belonged to one of the seal women, forcing her to live with him for seven years. And despite loving him and giving him a son, she felt a strong need to return home. Her body was withering. If she didn’t come back, she could die… Our inspiration was the book by C.P. Estés “Women Who Run With the Wolves.” The language of the performance contains images, intonation and emotions, that invite you to this little and intimate theatrical form. Everyone can understand it.
