Josef Váchal był nie tylko czeskim malarzem, grafikiem, ilustratorem i rzeźbiarzem, a również pisarzem i poetą. Do jego najpopularniejszego dorobku należy książka „Krwawa Opowieść”.
W książce z 1924 roku, złożył hołd popularnej lekturze XIX wieku – „Krwawej powieści”, zwanej potocznie „Krwawą”. Váchal był wielkim koneserem, kolekcjonerem i wielbicielem tego „śmieciowego” gatunku, którego charakterystycznymi cechami były prostoduszna zrozumiałość, romans i przygodowa fabuła. I my również jesteśmy fanami! Częścią spektaklu jest wystawa zatytułowana Interaktywny Panoptikon! Po spektaklu widownia może podziwiać, odkrywać i poruszać, wykonanymi przez Bárę Hubenę, obiektami… i nie tylko…

Josef Váchal was a Czech painter, graphic artist, illustrator, sculptor, and carver, but also a writer and poet. His most famous literary work is “The Bloody Novel.” In the book completed in 1924, he paid tribute to the popular reading of the 19th century – “The Bloody Novel”, popularly called „The Bloody”. Váchal was a great connoisseur, collector, and admirer of this „junk” genre, whose characteristic features were simple–minded intelligibility, romance, and an adventurous plot. And we are fans too! Part of the show is an exhibition called Interactive Panopticon! After the performance, the audience can admire, discover and move the mechanical objects created by Bára Hubená… and not only that..
